Privacy Policy

The short version: the odds estimate runs entirely in your browser. Your answers about nationality, finances, ties and history are never sent to us and never stored on a server. There is no sign-up and no tracking cookie. The optional email list below is the single, clearly-marked exception — and it never touches your calculator answers.
What we collect
Your estimate answers: nothing. The calculator is a client-side program. Every question you answer, and the resulting score, is computed on your own device. Those answers are never transmitted to GetVisaOdds or any third party. There is no account, login, or profile.
Shareable links. If you choose to copy a shareable link, your answers are
encoded into the link’s fragment (the part after #). Browsers never
send the fragment to any server, so a link you share carries the data only to whoever you
send it to — not to us.
Downloaded reports. The PNG report is generated on your device and saved locally. We never receive a copy.
Analytics
If enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless service that measures aggregate page views and performance without fingerprinting or building a profile of you. It sets no tracking cookies and does not collect personal data. If analytics is not enabled, no analytics script loads at all.
Cookies
GetVisaOdds sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If we later add any optional feature that needs storage or consent, we will ask you first and default to “off.”
Optional features
The "early warning" email list (opt-in)
If you choose to subscribe to important-change alerts, we store exactly this and nothing more: your email address, the date you subscribed, which page you subscribed from, and your interface language. It is stored in our own database (Cloudflare D1, in our account) — no third-party marketing platform, no enrichment, no tracking pixels. We do not store your IP address, and the list is never connected to your calculator answers (those never reach a server at all).
We use the list for one purpose: short notifications when something genuinely important changes (for example an ETIAS/EES milestone, a fee change, or a new rule). We never sell or share it. You can unsubscribe at any time — every email will include an unsubscribe option, and until then a message to hello@getvisaodds.com with "unsubscribe" removes you immediately. You can request deletion of your address at any time under the GDPR and similar frameworks.
Other future features (for example, emailing yourself a full report) would follow the same rule: strictly opt-in, minimal storage, stated here before they exist — and you can always decline and still use the free estimator.
Your rights (GDPR & similar)
Because we don’t collect your personal answers, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you ever contact us directly (for example by email), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of that correspondence at any time. We support the rights afforded under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and similar frameworks.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data. There is none to share.
Children
GetVisaOdds is a general-audience informational tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
